One of the babies deep in thought, they nearly have all of their facial feathers now, I wonder how long it is until their eyes will turn blue like their parents?

And What Is This?

What is this then? Blossom was less than impressed by this new development in the garden (oops sand pit!)
Clearly not happy with what she found there was only one thing to do!
Go back to her basket!

Presto.........

Well fancy that! After wondering out loud when the work on the pergola would begin yesterday, I return home at lunchtime to find this................
I am glad that I didn't have to dig the holes, the ground is like rock especially with the warmer weather approaching......
I am eager now for it to take shape.................
I am told that the frame for the path will be done today, so I shall hurry along after work to see what awaits me..........
Waiting patiently to become useful......................

Let The Building Begin.........

At last we have decided what to do with this area of annoying sand, at one point we considered just laying some grass down to soften the look however in the summer it takes so much water to maintain it.....................
So we have decided to have a gazebo built, a hexagonal one with a timber decking floor and black colour bond for the roof to match the house. Also my makeshift path to the back of the house will also be decked....................
Once the building is completed I will continue the native garden around the sides, attracting I trust more and more birds to feed in our garden...........
It has taken so long to complete this area, and what with the ground being like concrete it is no easy task getting a garden established..............
To complete the look we are also having a little box built to hide the pool pump and filter, it all should be completed when we return from England, although there is still two weeks to go maybe if I am lucky the builder will commence prior to then............................

How I See The World...........

At long last a photo that depicts how I see the world.
I see every single thing myself to a tree or a chair made up of these marvelous orbs of rainbow light.
As they shimmer magically together, they vibrate at an alarmingly fast pace which of course gives the illusion of how we perceive the world.
I often look at my hair watching the most incredible light show taking place wishing that somehow I could describe what it is I see, finally I can...........
I see these orbs, millions of them pouring forth from the sun each time I look up, they go everywhere and into every single thing animate and inanimate alike.
It is truly amazing, and I never tire from gazing at this spectacle, watching the Universe bestowing the light of life upon the world, connecting us all with the rays of its radiant love.............

Clouds..............

Mesmerizing and alluring, They draw me closer. Tantalising and teasing,
Drifting
Silently
Endlessly

Princess Blossom is soon to be home alone (again), whilst we naughty humans take to the shores of England for a few weeks of winter, I can't wait, roasted chestnuts, frosty mornings and I pray lots of snow, my idea of bliss............. Not to mention seeing family and special friends that are missed with all the miles between us at present.
I am already beginning to fret, the cat sitter has been to make sure that nothing much has changed since Blossom was her charge a few months ago, Blossom of course will have her running around after her telling her off when things just are not up to her standard, little minx, we shared a laugh or two as we conversed about Madame B's antics!
Bless her little heart .......

The Perfection of Life..................

The perfection of life surrounds us daily, although how many times do you stop to look at what you see? Every bird I see is a living canvas of purity.................
Each feather a miraculous portrayal of how amazing our world is........................
Colours so vibrant and alluring.....................
Faces full of character and expression.....................
Each one a truly unique and astonishing work of living art............

This is just TOO Cute...................

Bargin

14 books for $17.00, I was quite pleased with myself as I strolled out of a local fete with this arm full of future reading, and at such a bargain price too............................

I'm Happiest When....................

I'm happiest when I am surrounded by goats..................
Stroking a kangaroo............................
Caressing a koala...........................
Patting a wombat.................................
Or holding a precious lamb in my lap, the joy I feel in these experiences I believe is written all over my face.......................
My little crow babies enjoying a drink........................
Pondering what to destroy next in my garden!
This family is very close, they always arrive together, mum and dad keeping a watchful eye on any unwelcome visitors whilst the chicks play, drink and eat.................... Often they fly in with their own food which they soak in the bird bath for an hour or so before eating it.
Sharing the cat food, they LOVE this treat...............
Mum taking the fence patrol, bless her, she certainly has her feathers full with her brood of inquisitive chicks.....

Koalas

On our recent visit to Yanchep look at who we met, adorable and utterly fabulous koalas........
Doing some yoga prior to snuggling down for another afternoon nap..................
Bless his little heart, I don't think I could look so contented slumbering precariously on a branch!
Now you see us.......................
And now you don't, well not as easily in any case! It gives you an idea of how well they are camouflaged up their in their eucalyptus towers, and of course how you could walk right past a tree with a koala or two in and never even know they were there! It was a delight to watch them as they went about their daily business completely oblivious to the many humans standing in awe of their very presence.....................

And I Quote...............

Yesterday we had an unexpected invitation to go out for lunch at the Yanchep Inn (or as the locals say YanSHIP,) we would only know one person however we thought, its a lovely day, lets go for it!
My other half was informing everyone at the table that he didn't have much going for him being a vegetarian and a one glass drunk! Everyone laughed and then the lady sitting next to me said, "it could be worse, at least your not one of those vegans!"
I had to stifle a snicker as I thought to myself, no he's not but your sitting next to one!

A Masterpiece Was Painted Last Night....

A masterpiece was painted last night as the setting sun tinted the heavens with hues of pink and mauve...........
How splendid this world of ours is, the astonishing manner in which the Universe bestows blessings upon us with gifts of exquisite luminosity...............
Of silent moments far to precious for expression in mere words, visions such as this simply converse with my essence, connecting me with the Light of love................

And Babies Make Five......................

Do you remember these two 'love birds' from a few months ago? They would whisper sweet nothings to each other even in the pouring rain. Well after months of frantic fly in - fly out food visits I finally see what all the fuss was about........
Babies! Five of them. Every morning they all arrive together to enjoy breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and supper at my house.
The parents are so loving towards their precious chicks it is truly a gift to have them come each day..........
The babies are very inquisitive into everything just like any child, one went around pulling all the flowers off one of my everlasting daisies, while its sibling was attempting to land on the kangaroo paws and ending up in its back! Bless them they are so funny.........
You can look forward to many more family snaps of this affectionate brood as they bring their devotion and loving energy to my humble garden.............
